A special hands-on digital photography workshop weekend for anyone who wants to improve their images of fiber related projects, and the world around them. Photographing with the goal of using your images online will be emphasized, but the workshop will benefit anyone with a passion for both photography and fiber.
We'll start off in the classroom at The Yarnery in St. Paul, Minnesota. Time will be split between slide talks, demos and hands on photographing. We'll do a field trip to Gibbs Museum, a historic farmstead, where we'll shoot the sheep, the farm and use it as a backdrop for photographing FO's on and off people.
Class meets 10-4 on each Saturday & Sunday. It'll be fun, informative and for sure, action packed. We will spend Sunday afternoon concentrating on making your images sing online, working on the computer, so you'll leave with the weekend's images all spiffed and ready to post.
Class space is limited. Info & signup at The Yarnery, click here. And, see you there !

You don't need a DSLR to take the class. Point & shoot is fine. Whatever camera you choose, you must know where to find the controls to take it off Automatic /Program. I promise you, it is worth the effort. Promise! (Bring your manual to class.)
