Nine hundred eighty-eight images , the first round edit
for the new book are arriving at our Potter Craft editor's desk today.
How convenient! This arrived last week, as I was fastening my office chair seatbelt and culling the 13,000 photos I shot to accompany the 13 profiles and 19 projects Joan & I covered. We're very excited about this still untitled collaboration. It's all about the power of craft, community, people who act on ideas and create things while also changing the way we think. It's got fabulous knitting patterns and also crochet, stitching, sewing, tin work, mixed media. You can plunge right in.
Thanks to friend and red-hot knitwear designer MaryLou Egan for my merit badge. If you love her coquille shawl (number 3 with a bullet over on Ravelry !), wait'll you see the mittens she designed for the new book.
HooRAY!!! Can't wait for the new book!

That is a Cadette Girl Scout badge. I believe there is a Junior Girl Scout badge with a pen on it.
