contest contest
To celebrate our first ever two headed bi-coastal podcast interview - on CraftCast with Alison Lee - we're having a contest.
The prizes? So glad you asked. They're very Shear Spirit-y. Or is it Shear Spirit-ish?
There're two of them, for two lucky winners
:
# 1 :
A soft & woolly (100% wool ) skein of 13 Mile Sheep & Wool Ranch bulky natural white yarn from Montana. It'd make a fabulous hat. But you can do whatever you want with it.
Did we mention it's organic? Courtesy of our friends Becky Weed & Dave Tyler , the predator- friendly sheepherding ranchers.
and #2 :
6.5 oz of pure alpaca, in a natural tan hue, from Victory Ranch in New Mexico. So luxurious and enough for a couple or three Taos Berets.
We'll choose two commenters randomly next week just after midnight July 14th.
Just leave a comment below. Let us know if you have anything you wish we'd write about - more behind the scenes from making the book? Knitting adventures?Sheep & animal photos? Our regular old lives and what we're working on these days? (warning!warning! no new fiber books underway at present) .
Let 'er rip...or just say hi.
Comment. COMMENT COMMENT!
(This is terribly unfair to pathological lurkers!)
(But, the fiber is LOVELY.)

Love to hear when you have updates of the Farms you visited in the book.
Or about other Farms that may not have made it into the book.

Oh, anything you storytellers wish to tell about will be just ginger-peachy. Loving the behind-the-scenes stories and the day-to-day life stories and the babykidlet pics.

I just found this blog...how could I have missed it before...by following the link from Gale's blog. And now I am in love with Luna in the picture in the entry before this one. I want the baby goat! Though I guess my heartache could be assauged by some yarn.
Putting this in my RSS feed now.

Huzzah for organic, homegrown yarn! I love working with yarn that has a face! It feels more personal.

I love the book and this blog. I don't comment much but I sure subscribe it. I don't think I found any post boring yet, although I am a sucker for photos! :)
